
The Agawam Chamber Golf Committee produces
the annual 18-Hole Golf Social, which is held each summer and attracts a full
field for an afternoon of golf and networking.

The Agawam Chamber Program Committee
develops and produces events designed with Agawam Chamber members in mind.
Such events include semi-annual membership breakfasts and After Hours
networking programs. The Program Committee also sponsors monthly Spotlight on
Business tours to enhance the understanding of its Chamber members as to the
variety of industry within the Agawam
community and enable the Chamber to better understand the unique needs of its
member businesses.

The Agawam Chamber Scholarship Committee reviews
applications and awards four $500 scholarships to outstanding Agawam High School seniors on an annual
basis. Applications are available in the High School Guidance Office. For

The Agawam Chamber Town and Business
Relations Committee acts as the bridge between business and town government.
Committee members meet regularly with the mayor and other town officials to
address special needs as they become apparent, including such issues as
economic development, cell tower development and signage ordinance issues.
The Chamber also works as an advocate for new business development and
business retention.

The Education Committee works in conjunction with the Agawam High School Career Center and local businesses to produce school assemblies, job fairs, career placement advice, job shadowing, mentoring and internships all introducing students to careers available in the workplace.
